We are currently hiring for an Underwriting Assistant in our Princeton office.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Underwriters in rating, issuing and determining terms and conditions of coverage. He/she will provide assistance in preparing certificates of insurance, entry of policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations and/or submission information into underwriting systems and deal with the daily mail, faxes and email requests from brokers.

Qualifications:          

Minimum 1-2 years related experience preferred.
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
CIP or working towards would be an asset
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Analytical and judgment skills required
Attention to detail is essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products,
Highly organized to manage workflow efficiently
